Join us for an unforgettable journey through the heart of Granville Island’s art scene.
Event Description
Step into a world of creativity on Granville Island, where art, history, and community intertwine in one of Vancouver’s most enchanting cultural hubs. This guided tour is more than just a walk—it’s an invitation to immerse yourself in the island’s dynamic arts scene, meet the artists and gallerists shaping it, and experience art in an intimate and engaging way.
We’ll begin at the studio of Jane Adams, where we’ll get an intimate look at her artistic process and the inspirations behind her work. Next, we’ll visit Wil Aballe, a gallery known for pushing contemporary art boundaries, where we’ll explore the latest exhibition featuring Alex Gibson. Finally, we’ll arrive at New Leaf Editions, where Valerie Durant presents a compelling solo exhibition.
To conclude, we’ll unwind with a private reception featuring drinks and nibbles, the perfect setting to connect, discuss, and celebrate art together.
Along the way, you’ll experience a rich variety of artistic expression, from personal studio practice to cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions, all set against the dynamic creative hub of Granville Island.
