This guided tour is more than just a walk—it’s an invitation to immerse yourself in the island’s dynamic arts scene, meet the artists and gallerists shaping it, and experience art in an intimate and engaging way.
We’ll begin at Arts Umbrella, where youth talent is nurtured, offering a glimpse into the future of the arts art and their importance in education. Next, we’ll visit the studio of Ghislain Brown-Kossi, an artist whose practice recontextualizes ancient symbolism with modern storytelling. Finally, we’ll arrive at Wil Aballe gallery, a space known for championing groundbreaking contemporary artists. Here, we’ll unwind with a private reception featuring drinks and nibbles, creating the perfect setting to connect, discuss, and celebrate art together.
Along the way, you’ll witness the incredible range of artistic expression, from experimental works to deeply personal narratives, all within the dreamlike backdrop of Granville Island’s waterfront charm.
