In this special tour for UCW we will introduce you to Polygon Gallery and their newest exhibition ‘Ghosts of the Machine’. The exhibition highlights the work of 7 international artists that use new media (video, machinimas, photography and installations) to speak about our current ecological, economical and social relationships in the offline and online realms. Aside from the exhibition being super interesting and thought provoking, the gallery which is hosting it is a true architectural pride of our city. The gallery was built in 2017 as an ode to the industrial past of the area and as part of a larger urban planning renovation of the Shipyards in North Vancouver. We’ll get to enjoy a breathtaking view of the north shore mountains and of Vancouver’s stunning city scape.
