Vancouver Downtown Art Tour | Meet the Leaders

Meet the leaders and art experts of  Vancouver’s art scene in this special curator-led tour! 

Come meet Matthew Hyland, executive director at the Contemporary Art Gallery who will give us a guided visit of Charlene Vickers’ newest exhibition titled, Ancestor Gesture. We will learn how artist Charlene Vickers expresses meditations on power, protection, kinship and healing through art. 

During our second stop, we will meet Chris Keatley, director of Pendulum Gallery who will introduce us to this unique public art gallery hiding in the heart of downtown Vancouver. 

Jane Caddick Manager of Special Events at Splash will give us insight into Arts Umbrella’s Splash preview exhibition at Pendulum Gallery!

We will finish this exciting art tour at Faubourg, a family-owned bakery where we will enjoy a complimentary macaron and have a chance to interact as a group over a hot beverage to welcome fall together.

The spaces we visit with Curated Tastes follow the latest health and safety measures as outlined by government agencies and the most recent PHO orders and updates, including the use of masks in indoor spaces and proof of vaccination at bars and restaurants. 

Galleries do not require proof of vaccination.

There is a possibility that Faubourg bakery will require proof of vaccination. In the case that they require it and you do not have it, we are happy to bring out your order.
